Steve May (B.S. ’98) is a wealth management executive and private investor based in Atlanta. May leverages 25+ years of experience in tax and wealth planning to advise successful families and family offices across the country. Over his career he has held leadership roles as a managing director with J.P. Morgan and overseeing the financial and estate planning group at Wachovia Bank. He began his career as a CPA within the family wealth planning group at Arthur Andersen and has also served as an adjunct professor of Estate Planning at Oglethorpe University.

May holds a B.S. in Accounting from Florida State University and a Masters in Professional Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin. He maintains active Series 7, 63 and 65 securities licenses and previously held the CPA, CFP® and PFS designations. After graduating from Florida State in 1998, May has remained actively involved with the university, having served for six years on the College of Business Board of Governors and currently on the board of Seminole Boosters.

May lives in Atlanta with his wife Hillary and their three children: Brayden, Abigayle and Lyla.
