Education B.S. ’94 Location Tampa, Florida Committee(s) Advancement and Donor Engagement Committee Shannon DiBenedetto has over 25 years of experience in technology and business consulting, with a proven track record of driving strategic growth and customer-focused innovation. She launched her career at Andersen Business Consulting, where she advised companies around the globe on leveraging technology and process improvements to boost operational performance. DiBenedetto ultimately became a practice leader dedicated to delivering solutions that enhanced customer loyalty, satisfaction and high-quality experiences. In 2000, DiBenedetto joined Tribridge, a prominent technology firm, to establish a national customer relationship management practice. Under her leadership, the practice grew to become one of the firm's fastest expanding divisions, serving mid-market to enterprise clients. DiBenedetto’s scope of responsibility broadened over time to encompass all practices related to enterprise customers, significantly contributing to the firm's profitability. She concluded her tenure at Tribridge in the company’s Concerto Cloud Services practice, with its sale in 2017.DiBenedetto earned dual bachelor of science degrees in accounting and management information systems (MIS) from Florida State University in 1994. During her time at FSU, she actively contributed to campus life as treasurer of Alpha Delta Pi, a Seminole ambassador and a member of Beta Alpha Psi.DiBenedetto has held leadership and volunteer positions on several nonprofit boards including the Board of Trustees for St. Mary’s Episcopal Day School and Frameworks, which helps equip youth with emotional intelligence skills. She has also served as a mentor for the Young Women’s Leadership Board and as a member of the Executive Women’s Network for the Tampa Bay Technology Forum and the Women’s Leadership program for the United Way. DiBenedetto is an advocate for youth development and education. She actively supports her husband Tony with his nonprofit organization Think Big for Kids. The organization’s mission is to break the cycle of poverty by providing middle and high school students with career exploration, mentorship, job readiness and placement to excel in today’s workforce. Together, they established the Think Big Endowment at FSU as part of the CARE program to support first-generation students in achieving their educational goals.
