Education B.S. ’92, MBA ’99, J.D. ’01 Jeanne Curtin (B.S. ’92, MBA ’99, J.D. ’01) has focused much of her career on public service. She is an attorney and policy chief of the Housing, Agriculture & Tourism Subcommittee of the Florida House of Representatives. She is a past chair of the National Board of Directors of the FSU Alumni Association, a Legacy Life member of the FSU Alumni Association, a member of Seminole Boosters – The Platinum Chiefs and The Bowden Society, and a member of the Westcott Legacy Society. Curtin’s service statewide and to her local community includes a term as co-chair of the State Health Improvement Plan Priority Area 9 for Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias, as an ex-officio council member of the Florida Council on Homelessness and on the board of the Capital Area Chapter of the American Red Cross, including a term as chair of the board. Because of her service to the American Red Cross, Curtin was twice honored with the Donna O’Meara Chairman’s Award. Committed to student success, Curtin endowed a scholarship in honor of her late mother, the Roberta “Bobbie” Rusk Clark Endowment for Marching Chiefs, to support clarinetists. She and her husband Larry also established the Lawrence and Jeanne Curtin Endowed Scholarship in the College of Law to recruit top law students to FSU.
