FSU Foundation Receives Fifth Consecutive Clean Audit Report

At the end of each fiscal year, the Florida State University Foundation engages independent auditors to review our financial statements.  As part of the audit, the Foundation’s financial processes are reviewed and the auditors note any deficiencies found in a letter to management.

We are pleased to announce that 2015 is the fifth consecutive year the FSU Foundation has received no management letter comments as a result of our external audits, therefore no deficiencies were identified in the processes the Foundation uses to handle financial transactions.

This achievement reflects our ongoing commitment to proper internal controls and safeguards of financial assets, as well as effective stewardship of the gifts made to the Foundation by donors.

“One of the Foundation’s core values is to maintain our donors’ trust that we are properly managing their generous contributions to support Florida State academics,” Andy Jhanji, the Foundation’s executive vice president, said. “This accomplishment ultimately exemplifies the Foundation’s hard work and dedication to the advancement of the University and its mission.”
