Shaping America's response to crime, the Florida State University College of Criminology & Criminal Justice, under the leadership of Dean Thomas Blomberg, brings research to life. Known for its groundbreaking research, challenging academics and inspiring intellectual community, the college is home to the nation's oldest graduate program in criminology and criminal justice and the oldest Ph.D. program of its kind in the United States.

Using state-of-the-art empirical research to help guide public policy—particularly in the area of juvenile justice—the college's faculty, a virtual "Who's Who" of industry-leading teachers and scholars, is published in the top journals of the field.
