Annual Gifts

Each year thousands of Florida State University alumni, parents and friends express their loyalty to the University through their annual donations. All of these gifts, regardless of size, are greatly appreciated. The first gift of a new graduate is just as important as the sizable contribution of a long-time donor. Both represent a real commitment to Florida State.

Investing in FSU through annual gifts allows you to truly make a difference in the lives of today’s students. Unlike endowed gifts, annual gifts are used in the current operating year, providing discretionary funds to be allocated where they are most needed. This kind of flexibility allows the colleges, programs and units to maintain their high levels of success.  

Employer Matching Gifts
Many companies will match or multiply a donation made to charitable organizations through their matching gift programs. To find out if your company participates in such a program, ask your human resources department. Also, the Foundation can search an online database of companies that match gifts.  

The PhoneCenter
The FSU Foundation PhoneCenter is responsible for contacting alumni, parents and friends to update records, answer questions and inform them about university news and events. Additionally, student callers solicit financial support for FSU’s many colleges, programs and academic units.
