FSU Foundation Seeks New Trustees

The FSU Foundation Board of Trustees is seeking trustee nominations for the 2010 selection cycle. The submission deadline for this selection cycle is December 4, 2009.

As you know, the Foundation Board provides leadership and philanthropic guidance to the University’s academic fundraising activities. We are accordingly seeking individuals who are actively involved with the University or have already expressed an interest in becoming a member of the Foundation Board. The Trusteeship Committee will make its formal recommendations to the Foundation Board during its Spring board meeting on May 21, 2010.

We ask that you discuss the potential nomination(s) with the person(s) in question to help ensure that they would ultimately be interested in serving. To help avoid misunderstandings or hurt feelings, it is advisable to alert potential nominees that we receive far more nominations than we have vacancies.
