Employee Benefits Summary

The following information is only a summary of the benefits we offer to our employees. When new employees join the Foundation team, they receive detailed information about eligibility, enrollment and other important information.

Retirement Plan—403(b)

Participation in the Foundation’s Retirement Plan is offered to all eligible employees. The plan is funded by contributions to employee accounts. Company contributions are made beginning on the first day of employment and equal 11 percent of the employee’s salary.  

The 403(b) Plan is designed to help employees prepare for the future. In addition to company contributions of 11 percent, the Foundation will match up to 4 percent of eligible employee contributions. Based on the EGTRRA regulations, employees may contribute additional dollars above 4 percent on a pre-tax basis.

Medical Insurance

Employees are offered a medical plan through a cafeteria-style flexible benefits program. Medical plan options are available to eligible employees and qualified family members at minimal cost.

Dental Insurance

Dental coverage is offered to eligible employees and their families and paid entirely by the employee on a pre-tax basis. Dental coverage options include preventive, basic, major and orthodontic coverage.  


Vision coverage is offered to provide affordable vision care for employees and their families. Coverage under the vision plan includes complete eye exams, lenses and frames or contact lenses.  

Disability and Life Insurance

Long term disability insurance and basic life insurance is provided to our employees. Basic life insurance is based on annual salary with a maximum benefit of $50,000. The Foundation pays 100% of the employee’s premium. Optional employee and dependent life insurance and short term disability insurance are also available.

Sick Leave, Vacation and Holidays

Depending on employment classifications, employees are able to accrue time off for personal illness and vacation. Employees celebrate nine paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
