With our award-winning faculty, our programs have consistently ranked among the best in the nation, and the College ranks in the top 20 in terms of doctoral degrees awarded in the latest Survey of Earned Doctorates. Our Teacher Education Unit has been accredited by the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) since 1954.

Our more than 3,000 students work closely with faculty to improve primary and secondary education throughout Florida and the nation with a foundation of strong academic preparation, cutting-edge educational research and extensive classroom experience. Our programs are based on the belief that mastery of an academic discipline is the essential element to effective teaching and educational leadership.
